My future job, I hope.



Studying cinema I realized that there are so many kinds of arts on it. However, I'm in second year and I'm not sure of what I would love to work on the future yet. But probably I would like being Art director.
An art director is someone who is responsible for the visual style and images of all kind of areas like advertising and public relations firms, newspaper and magazine publishers, specialized design services firms, or the theatre, but personally I would like to work only in motion picture and video industries, and maybe doing fashion production (or custume designer), specifically.
An art director typically oversees the work of other designers and artists who produce images. They determine the overall style or tone for each project and articulate their vision to a movie set.
It depends on the industry or  what kind of art are you going to do the specifically skill you have to have (costume designer, handcraft designer, drawing, etc). 

They have to know how represent a concept visually. Develop with timelines and budgets, have a good communication skills are also essential. Your team has to understand what you want. I like this job because I have to be creative, sensitive and expressive all the time, and also be responsible of the aesthetic of an audiovisual production.

Great concert!!

As I can remember I was finishing my last year of secondary, so I was doing pre-university courses all year weekends, far away from my home. So all friday nigths I stayed with my sister in her place. But... that day was the exception because I lied to my mom to go to the concert. My best friend sister had a apartment in Santiago, and we decided to go and sleep there. We went to Mac Demarco concert on 2016. He is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, and  his style of music has been described as "blue wave" and "slacker rock" or, by called himself, "jizz jazz". about the future?

Hi  While studying cinema I realize that this career is a beautiful mixture of all arts such as writing (scripts), photography, the sound and even visual art.  This last concept is what interests me the most, all the work behind the camera, colors, materials, textures, clothes, shapes, etc. The whole visual concept. I don’t know the specific name of the course but I would like to specialize in art direction, and even I would like to learn more about costume design for films or fashion production. I would like to study in France or Italy, or in any country of Europe. I think is necessary go out of the country to see more and learn about other cultures. I know it would be complicated connect with people because I almost know how to speak English haha. Maybe saving money to study a two year course, or even a part time curse and have a job and work there would be an option. I don’t know yet but it would be a great experience.. Hi everyone As an student of cinema and television obviously I am a big fan of the movies in general, and also I love to go to cinema. I remember that the first movie I have seen was Nemo in the 2003, and I was so excited to be there. But I still think that cinema is not for any kid. My cousin didn’t last much there, she got bored at the first minutes of the movie, and even she asked me if I wanted to play there (?). I think is because I had a VHS on my room at a very young age.
